Missing Wellington boy Xion Flaws found safe
Wellington boy Xion Flaws, 9, who was missing overnight in the suburb of Tawa, has been found safe.
The news was revealed in a Facebook post by his mum Beverly Flaws about 8.40am on Monday.
"My son has been found... thank you so much everyone. You have all been so amazing," she wrote.

Police confirmed Xion was found by a member of the public in the bush near Chastudon Place.

"I stopped listening once they said he had been found by a member of the community. I was just shocked and started crying," she said.
"It's unusual for him to go off to the point where I can't find him. He's wandered before. He's been doing it since he was about four or five-years-old.
"But I've always been able to find him within the hour."
Xion was checked by Wellington Free Ambulance staff on site before being transported to Wellington Hospital in a stable condition.

Police said on Sunday night there were "serious concerns" for the boy's safety.
He had last been seen about 8pm on Sunday on Greer Crescent wearing a grey Fila t-shirt, blue jean shorts and white Converse shoes.
Flaws had said her son was "non-verbal" and his pair of socks and shoes were found at a friend's house.

She was concerned he was in bare feet, shorts and a T-shirt. "He will be so cold."
