T18030: First Aid (1 day)

LandSAR members who have a valid First Aid certificate (evidence of unit standard 6400) are not required to complete the online learning prior to attending a 1 day first aid course (FR1), and may attend this as a refresher.

Those members who have not attained US6400 and hold US26551 & US26552 do need to complete the online pre-course TOOL prior to attending the practical session, as this course is designed to ensure that all LandSAR members hold US 6400, 6401 & 6402.

GEAR LIST (please bring)
• Suitable footwear for indoor & outdoor use.
• Suitable outdoor clothing (please allow for seasonal conditions)
• Pen, pencil and notebook.
• Your personal First Aid kit and any personal medication.
• SAR Hi-Vis Vest – bring your own if you have one.

Scenarios may use fake blood, which can stain, so please do not bring your best clothing.
